Day 1
- Leave Leh early and make a short stop at Khardung La.
- Reach Diskit by early afternoon and check in at Diskit or Hunder.
- Visit Diskit Monastery and the Maitreya Buddha statue.
- Spend the late afternoon on the Hunder sand dunes.
3 days in Nubra Valley
Cross Khardung La to Diskit and Hunder, take a day trip to Turtuk, then see the Sumur and Panamik side before returning to Leh.
Day 2
- Drive from Hunder to Turtuk, about 95 km from Diskit.
- Walk through the village lanes and apricot orchards.
- Have lunch in the village.
- Return to Hunder or Diskit by evening.
Day 3
- Drive to Sumur and visit Samstanling Monastery.
- Stop at Yarab Tso.
- Continue to the Panamik hot springs.
- Drive back to Leh over Khardung La.
