Day 1
- Arrive in Lohaghat from Tanakpur and check in.
- Walk around Lohaghat town and the Lohawati river.
- Take a taxi 7 to 8 km to Abbott Mount in the afternoon.
- Walk past the cottages, church and cricket pitch and watch the Himalayan view before dusk.
3 days in Lohaghat and Abbott Mount
One day for Lohaghat and Abbott Mount, one for the ashram and the fort, and one for Champawat and the Pancheshwar confluence.
Day 2
- Drive 9 km to Mayawati Advaita Ashram in the morning.
- Spend about two hours at the ashram and its library.
- Return to Lohaghat for lunch.
- Visit Banasur ka Kila, about 7 km from town, in the afternoon.
Day 3
- Leave early by hired taxi for Pancheshwar, about 40 km away.
- See the Kali and Saryu confluence and the temple.
- Drive back and continue 14 km to Baleshwar Temple in Champawat.
- Carry on down to Tanakpur for the onward journey.
