Day 1
- Arrive from Mandi by early afternoon and check in.
- Walk along the Uhl River and Barot reservoir.
- See the Shanan Hydel Project works and the old haulage trolley line.
- Dinner at your homestay.
3 days in Barot
Riverside walks and the trout farm, a day up the valley, and a morning in the forest before leaving.
Day 2
- Visit the trout fish farm in the morning and take an angling permit if you want to fish.
- Walk up to Dev Pashakot temple.
- Take a local bus or taxi to Lohardi village and walk around.
- Return to Barot before the last bus in the late afternoon.
Day 3
- Cross the river for a morning walk in Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary, with a guide if possible.
- Keen walkers can instead spend the day trekking towards Rajgundha.
- Leave for Mandi by early afternoon to connect with the night bus.
