Day 1
- Arrive at Umaria station and transfer to a lodge in Tala village.
- Take an afternoon Tala zone safari (not on a Wednesday).
- Walk to the sweet shops opposite the Tala gate in the evening.
3 days in Bandhavgarh National Park
Four or five safaris across the three core zones and a buffer zone, based in Tala village.
Day 2
- Early morning Magadhi zone safari.
- Rest at the lodge through the midday heat.
- Afternoon Khitauli zone safari for leopards, sloth bears and birds.
- Short walk through Tala village with your lodge.
Day 3
- Morning Tala zone safari past Shesh Shaiya, with views of Bandhavgarh Fort and the caves.
- Optional afternoon buffer zone safari in Panpatha or Johila.
- Transfer back to Umaria, Katni or Jabalpur.
