Day 1
- Reach the Taj Mahal at opening time and spend the early morning there.
- Go on to Agra Fort, about 2.5 km away.
- After lunch, cross the river to the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah.
- End the day at Mehtab Bagh for the sunset view of the Taj Mahal.
2 days in Agra
The Taj Mahal and the city's Mughal monuments on day one, then Sikandra and Fatehpur Sikri on day two.
Day 2
- Visit Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra in the morning.
- Drive about an hour west to Fatehpur Sikri.
- See Buland Darwaza, the Jama Masjid and the palace buildings there.
- Return to Agra and try petha and chaat before leaving.
