Chandigarh suits travellers interested in modern architecture, with the UNESCO-listed Capitol Complex and the Le Corbusier Centre. Nek Chand's Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and the large rose garden make it easy and relaxed for families and older visitors. It also works as a short stopover on the way to the Himachal hills.
