Day 1
- Arrive in Kumily and check in.
- Take the 1:45 pm or 3:30 pm Periyar Lake boat cruise.
- Walk around Kumily's spice shops.
- Watch an evening show at Kadathanadan Kalari Centre.
3 days in Thekkady
A lake cruise and spice gardens on day one, a full day in the forest on day two, and the plantation country on day three.
Day 2
- Start at 5:30 am on the Gavi jungle safari, or join a bamboo rafting group.
- Trek and have lunch in the forest.
- Return to Kumily by late afternoon and rest.
Day 3
- Visit Abraham's Spice Garden near Kumily.
- Drive to Murikkady for the plantations and viewpoint.
- Go on to the Connemara Tea Factory at Vandiperiyar.
- Leave for Kottayam, Kochi or Madurai.
