Day 1
- Travel from Guwahati and check in near Police Bazar.
- Walk around Ward's Lake and take a paddle boat.
- Visit the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians.
- Evening food and shopping in Police Bazar.
3 days in Shillong
City sights on arrival day, Upper Shillong and the museum on day two, then the canyon and the lake.
Day 2
- Go up to Shillong Peak in the morning with photo ID.
- Continue to Elephant Falls nearby.
- Return to the city for lunch.
- Spend the afternoon at the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures.
Day 3
- Leave early for Laitlum Canyon while the view is clear.
- Drive back through the city to Umiam Lake.
- Go boating or sit by the lake.
- Carry on down the highway to Guwahati or return to Shillong.
