Day 1
- Reach Aut in the morning and take a taxi or bus up to Shangarh before 3 PM.
- Check in to a homestay and have lunch.
- Walk on Shangarh Meadow in the late afternoon.
- Visit Shangchul Mahadev Temple before sunset.
3 days in Shangarh
Meadow and temple on arrival, a waterfall and village day on foot, then the lake and the upper valley.
Day 2
- Walk to Barshangarh Waterfall after breakfast.
- Return to the village for lunch.
- Take a cab to Raila to see the twin towers, or do part of the Lapah village walk.
- Spend the evening on the meadow.
Day 3
- Drive down towards Sainj and up to Deohari.
- Walk to Pundrik Rishi Lake through the forest.
- If time allows, continue to Neuli for a short Great Himalayan National Park ecozone trail or the Manu Rishi Temple at Shenshar.
- Return to Aut by evening for the onward bus.
