Day 1
- Arrive from Kathgodam and check in near Mall Road.
- Take a boat on Naini Lake in the afternoon.
- Visit Naina Devi Temple at the Mallital end.
- Walk Mall Road in the evening and try bal mithai.
3 days in Nainital
The lake and temple first, then the ropeway, zoo and caves, and a hill walk on the last day.
Day 2
- Ride the ropeway from Mallital to Snow View Point in the morning for the clearest views.
- Go to Nainital Zoo (closed on Thursdays).
- Walk through Eco Cave Gardens before it shuts at 4.30 pm.
- Dinner on Mall Road.
Day 3
- Start early for the walk or pony ride to Tiffin Top; fit walkers can choose Naina Peak instead.
- Visit Raj Bhawan after lunch (closed on Sundays).
- Return to Kathgodam for the evening or night train.
