Day 1
- Morning at the Indian Museum near Park Street metro.
- Lunch on Park Street.
- Afternoon at the Victoria Memorial galleries and gardens.
- Evening walk at Prinsep Ghat.
3 days in Kolkata
Central museums and the Maidan first, then the river temples to the north, then the old city and the riverfront.
Day 2
- Early start to Dakshineswar Kali Temple by train from Sealdah or by taxi.
- Take the ferry across the river to Belur Math before it closes at 11.30 am, or return for the afternoon opening.
- Back to the city for a Bengali meal and sweets.
Day 3
- Early morning at the Mallik Ghat flower market and a walk on Howrah Bridge.
- Jorasanko Thakurbari in north Kolkata.
- Kalighat Temple after it reopens at 5 pm.
- Dinner and street food before leaving.
