Day 1
- Arrive from NJP or Bagdogra by midday.
- Visit Thongsa Gompa and Mangal Dham in town.
- Walk up to Tharpa Choling Monastery.
- Visit the Lepcha Museum if it is a weekday.
3 days in Kalimpong
Town monasteries and market on day one, the Deolo side on day two, and Durpin Hill before leaving.
Day 2
- Drive early to Deolo Hill for mountain views.
- Stop at Dr. Graham's Homes and its chapel.
- Visit Pine View Nursery (closed Sundays).
- Return to town for the evening.
Day 3
- Drive to Durpin Hill for the Durpin Monastery.
- Take in the Teesta valley views from the hill.
- Leave for NJP or Bagdogra before about 2 pm.
