One day on the fort hill and one day for the palace, tombs and temples in the city below.

Day 1

Start early at Gwalior Fort and Man Mandir Palace.
Walk to Teli ka Mandir and the Saas Bahu Temples inside the fort.
See the Jain figures at Gopachal Parvat.
Visit the Gujari Mahal Archaeological Museum in the afternoon.
Return to the fort for the evening light and sound show.

Day 2

Visit Jai Vilas Palace and Scindia Museum in the morning (closed Wednesdays).
Go to the Tomb of Tansen.
Head to Morar for the Sun Temple in the late afternoon.
End with snacks and shopping in the old markets.
