Day 1
- Reach Junagadh by bus or train and take a bus or taxi to Sasan Gir.
- Check in and collect safari details at the Sinh Sadan reception centre.
- Afternoon bus or gypsy tour of Devalia Safari Park.
3 days in Gir National Park
Two forest safaris and Devalia from Sasan Gir, with a day trip to Somnath.
Day 2
- Early morning Gir Jungle Trail safari from Sasan.
- Rest at the lodge through the midday heat.
- Afternoon safari on another route, which may pass Kamleshwar Dam.
Day 3
- Drive to Somnath Temple, about 45 km, for morning darshan.
- Optional visit to Kankai Mata Temple instead, if forest permission is arranged.
- Head back via Veraval or Junagadh, stopping at Uparkot Fort if time allows.
