Day 1
- Arrive from Kadapa and check in at the fort or a rim camp.
- Walk the fort walls in the late afternoon.
- Sunset over the gorge from the rim.
- Dinner at the tourism canteen; the village has little else.
2 days in Gandikota
Arrive for sunset at the rim, see the fort properly at sunrise, then take in Belum Caves on the way out.
Day 2
- Sunrise at the rim, which is the best light of the day.
- Madhavaraya and Ranganatha temples, the mosque and the granary.
- Drive to Belum Caves, about 1.5 hours west.
- Continue to Kadapa for an evening train.
