Day 1
- Arrive in Madikeri and check in.
- Walk around Madikeri Fort (closed on Mondays).
- Visit Gaddige (Raja's Tomb) for views over the town.
- Watch the sunset at Raja's Seat.
3 days in Coorg
Madikeri town sights first, then a hilltop and waterfall day, then the elephant camp and monastery near Kushalnagar.
Day 2
- Leave early and take a shared jeep up to Mandalpatti.
- Stop at Abbey Falls on the way back, before 5 PM.
- Spend the afternoon on a coffee estate walk at your homestay.
- Optional alternative: a full-day trip to Talacauvery instead of Mandalpatti.
Day 3
- Reach Dubare Elephant Camp by 9 AM for the morning elephant session.
- Drive on to Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple) at Bylakuppe.
- Have lunch near Kushalnagar.
- Continue towards Mysuru or Bengaluru, or return to Madikeri.
