Day 1
- Arrive from Kathgodam and enter the sanctuary before the gate closes.
- Stop at Bineshwar Mahadev Temple on the way up.
- Check in and watch the sunset over the peaks from your lodge.
3 days in Binsar
Two slow days in the forest and at the viewpoints, and one day for the temples on the way back towards Almora.
Day 2
- Walk about 2 km to Binsar Zero Point early for the clearest view.
- Spend the late morning on the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary forest trails looking for birds.
- Visit the Binsar Sanctuary Museum.
- Have tea at Khali Estate if it is open to visitors.
Day 3
- Leave the sanctuary after breakfast.
- Visit Kasar Devi Temple on the ridge.
- Continue to Gairar Golu Devta Temple.
- Drive on to Almora or Kathgodam for the journey home.
