Dalhousie and Khajjiar

A colonial-era hill station on five hills, paired with the forest-ringed Khajjiar meadow.

FamousHill-stationMeadowHeritageWildlife

Dalhousie keeps its old churches and quiet forest walks, with views of the Dhauladhar range and the Ravi valley. Khajjiar, about 22 km away, is a wide grassy clearing with a pond, ringed by cedar forest. The pair suits families, couples and first-time hill travellers who want easy sightseeing rather than hard trekking.
